Dalton Alexander Mesarchik (April 29, 1995 - March 26, 2003) Dalton passed away when he was 7 years old. He was abducted from the front yard of his home in Streater, Illinois on March 25, 2003. He had been waiting for a church van to pick him up and take him to a bible study that was happening that day. But the study was cancelled, and when his family called for him to come back inside, he was gone. Sadly, his body was found in a river about two miles from his home the next day, with the cause of death being blunt force trauma to the head. His murder sadly remains unsolved. Dalton was a fun-loving, happy boy. He loved Jesus and listening to bible stories, and when he wasn't hanging out with his siblings he could usually be found playing with toy motorcycles he liked to collect.
