This photo depicts the once-famous Chancellor of a Russiasoldier, on his deathbed. This photograph itself was taken discreetly by two photographers, who had bribed about his information about declining health, and also for access into his home when he finally died.... Read story A lot of those medals are rememberance or "liberation" medals. He has Order of Glory 3rd class, Order of Red Star, Order of Patriotic War (more likely given in 1975 as a jubilee award, as to the other WWII vets), two medals for bravery or a battle merit. He is also a 3 star Colonel, meaning that he probably had a long career in the military. I could not find the identity of this person.
