Fear your God, 1970

Seen here are indigenous children in Canada. They're forced to pray to God (Christian) in a government facility that acted as a boarding house. 

The location of this is unknown though it has been established that it took place in Canada. There schools and systems were in place in order to covert native/Indian children into a whitewashed lifestyle. More than 130 compulsory boarding schools funded by the Canadian government and run by religious authorities during the 19th and 20th Centuries. Between 1863 and 1998, more than 150,000 indigenous children were taken from their families and placed in these schools throughout Canada. It is estimated that 6,000 children died in these facilities due to poorly built dorm houses, poor heating, abuses at the hands of staff, and lack of general hygiene. Many stereotypes played into these systems, such as native peoples being less intelligent or incompetent at normal tasks  in comparison to white people. These children are seen here being forced to pray to a deity that they would generally not worship. They were not allowed to practise their customs, speak their language or practise their spiritual beliefs 

Reminds me of the mother and baby homes in Ireland. So sad to see this. 751 Unmarked graves have been discovered in Canada at Saskatchewan with alleged remains of indigenous children.
