Mysterious 'UFO' shaped like half moon spotted in sky amid claims it was 'trying to disguise itself as cloud'

In 1947, private pilot Kenneth Arnolds reported to have seen nine unidentified flying objects soaring

through the skies of Oregon. Kenneth was flying his plane near Mount Rainier’s route from Chehalis to

his home in Boise when he saw the circular metallic objects flying around, all 50 feet apart. One of the

mysterious objects caught his attention, the object had the shape of a crescent moon and was positioned at the front of all nine metallic objects.

“The moon shaped object was leading the rest”reported Arnolds to the East Oregonian newspaper while on his fuel refill. Later that week,

the Air Force claimed to be a sky mirage, that Mr. Arnolds only saw shiny clouds in the sky. Although

many believe that it was a false UFO encounter due to the Air Force’s report, many still can’t explain the

mysterious crescent moon shaped UFO that Mr. Arnolds saw that afternoon in East Oregon.

An unusual UFO may have been trying to blend in with the clouds, it is claimed.

The half-moon shaped object was spotted floating in the blue sky and could be seen travelling slowly as it rose higher.

Footage of it has been analysed by SecureTeam10, a group of UFO experts, who have declared this a "very strange" phenomenon.

In the clip, the white shape in the sky first appears to be a simply crescent, before the full circular object becomes apparent.

Tyler Glockner from Secure Team, uploaded the footage to his YouTube channel and talks through what can be seen on the screen.

He said the clip was originally uploaded with the description "UFO, possible imitating a cloud".

"It almost has this half-moon like shape to it as it quietly drifts through the sky.

"This is a really anomalous finding."

The UFO expert who has seen hundreds of these objects added: "I've never quite seen a UFO that looks like this...and obviously it's not a drone.

"This holds its shape, it seems to haves some reflection off of it, and its is completely unexplainable."
