The Tatzelwurm
This creature is commonly known in the mountain area of Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. The Tatzerwurm or the Alps dragon, is a bipedal creature, with the body of a snake, and the face of a wild cat.
The creature is believed to be first sighted around 1779, when a man saw two of these creatures approaching his farm. The man died of a heart attack, but not before telling his family what he saw.
Several reports within the mentioned countries have reported Tatzelwurm encounter throughout time. These encounters always speak of a cat-like snake creature attacking their farms, or trying to hunt them down. Is the Tatzelwurm an ancient Chimera? Or just myths? Only time will tell....
