The gruesome murder of a 16-year-old girl in India was caught on CCTV. The incredibly graphic footage shows people walking by as the girl is stabbed over 20 times and bludgeoned in an attack that lasted around two minutes.
In the video, several people can be seen walking by and one person just stops and watches as the victim is being killed, with only one person trying unsuccessfully to intervene.
Police say the suspect, who is in custody, was in a relationship with the victim and call it a ‘crime of passion’. The video of the murder has caused renewed uproar in India, where there has been a history of violence against women. #CGTNAmerica
On a dimly lit street at the outskirts of India’s capital of New Delhi, a surveillance camera captured the final, horrifying, moments of a 16-year-old girl.
A man, dressed in a blue T-shirt, shoved her against a wall before stabbing her repeatedly until she fell to the ground, lifeless. But even then, he didn’t stop his attack. He kicked her battered body several times, stabbed her again and then picked up what appeared to be a large slab. He held the object over her with both hands and then let it crash down on top of her, forming clouds of dust. He walked away, and then came back and did it again.
