No child is born a racist, 1992

No child is born a racist, 1992

This is one of the best examples of how evil takes advantage of innocence. Here we see a child in a KKK outfit standing in front of a black state trooper. The irony of the picture is incredible. A black man having to defend others who are out to spread hate against him

The trooper's name is Allen Campbell, and the little boy is called Josh. Campbell was once asked about the picture, and this is what he had to say :

“I didn’t even see the kid. I was looking down to see what was bumping on my shield. And when I looked down, there was this little kid in a Klan uniform. He saw his reflection in the riot shield. He was tracing his outline. The child was oblivious to what was going on around him”.

There were only 66 KKK members at the rally, and there were only around 100 other spectators, but the KKK members were encircled three times by law enforcement for their protection.

I could not find anything else about Josh, and Campbell retired in 2009 with the rank of Master Trooper.

I hope Josh grew up without that kind of hate towards others for just one difference, the difference of pigment in our skin. We are all made of dreams, fears, aspirations, and blood. Be kind to others.
