Incredible moment a naked woman is rescued by a cherry picker after she climbed onto the roof of a Fort Worth cathedral building and straddled a statue for FOUR HOURS

A naked woman had to be rescued after she scaled a roof and straddled a statue on top of a cathedral building in Fort Worth, Texas. The woman was seen climbing the roof of St. Ignatius Academy at the Saint Patrick Cathedral complex where she remained trapped for roughly four hours until she was brought to safety but rescuers in a cherry picker. Video obtained by Andre Duncan shows the woman grabbing onto the statue as authorities try to reach her on Friday. It was around 8am when the woman first started climbing the statue. Police caught the woman moments after she began slipping off the statue at around noon. Onlookers convened in the area to capture the wild moment. According to Fort Worth police spokesperson Tracy Carter, the woman - who has not been identified - may have suffered from a mental health condition. Negotiators tried to keep her calm, go in there and get her off the building,' Carter explained to CBS DFW. The woman was reportedly taken away in an ambulance. School was said to be in session in the area but no students were harmed during the incident. Police have not reported whether any charges will be brought up against the woman.
