Man In Karachi Uses His 'Gamcha' To Save Friend From Being Electrocuted
When it comes to life-threatening situations, there's never enough time to plan and execute things a certain way. But at the same time whatever your decide can mean all the difference between life and death, either for you or the person you're trying to save. In the end, you need to have your wits about you to be able to act properly during a crisis.
A man succeeded in doing so in Pakistan. The now-viral video is reportedly from Karachi and it shows a man saving his friend’s life by stopping him from getting electrocuted.
The video starts with the two men standing outside a shop. While one man waits, the other one starts to bring down the shop’s shutter probably made of metal. The moment the man shuts the shop down, he seemingly cannot get away from the shutter. He was glued to it.
His friend touched him for a moment, but the other person was clearly being electrocuted.
With only seconds to spare, the friend removed the cloth from around his neck, gamcha, threw it around his friend’s neck and pulled with a great force, after two attempts he finally managed to free his friend.
The man who was being electrocuted can be seen laying down, seemingly unable to get up. The video ends with people gathering around the man who just received an electric shock.
The guy was lucky that his friend was around, but more importantly that the latter had his wits about him.
