Instead, he got stuck in a tree and dangled there, upside down, until authorities rescued him. The photo and story of the encounter was published on the newspaper's front page on Tuesday. The woman had been alone when the naked man entered her home and approached her, the East Oregonian reported. She dialed 9-1-1, and the man fled once police arrived. The man was arrested after emergency responders freed him from the tree. The man was combative and possibly under the influence of drugs, authorities told the East Oregonian. He faces multiple charges, including harassment, resisting arrest and burglary.
