Terrifying video shows snowboarder clinging onto a rock face for TWO HOURS after he got stuck on a snowy cliff in Canada
A snowboarder clung onto a cliff for dear life for two hours after he got stuck on a mountain at the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort in Canada in a harrowing moment all caught on video. Video shows how the snowboarder got wedged on a steep cliff in the Spanky's Ladder area of the famous ski resort where he desperately clutched onto a rock face to keep himself from falling. Ski instructor Olivier Roy, a coach at Core Snowboard Camps at the Whistler resort, shared video of the incident that took place 'a couple weeks ago' on Instagram. 'I was coming out of the Spanky's Ladder zone on Blackcomb with the group I'm coaching, when we saw a bit of commotion and, eventually, this poor guy perched halfway up a nasty cliff with no way up or down,' he said. 'I had with me the camp video camera, so I was able to get a few good close-ups of him hanging on for his life,' he added. In the clip someone is heard saying 'hang in there buddy!' as the camera zooms in on the man's board precariously balanced on the cliff.
