Video of cyclist being wiped out by van while undertaking on its blindside sparks fierce debate...so who do YOU think is in the wrong?

Footage captured by another cyclist on Tuesday shows the moment the motorist and the biker both went to turn left at the same time in Lewisham, south east London. The video shows the cyclist zipping along a main road in the sunshine before turning right onto a street lined with office buildings. As he turns in to make a left at the end of the road the driver of a black van has the same idea. After the crash, the cyclist, who had just uttered an expletive, collapses next to the pavement with his legs raised into the air. The man, who is wearing a helmet and full cycling gear, picks himself up from the ground and begins a discussion with the van driver. The cyclist admits it was his fault after being asked if he was going left. The van driver then asks if he is okay and the conversation appears to continue in a friendly manner. Michael Snasdell, who filmed the incident, told Newsflare: 'While out cycling in South London I found myself behind a guy who decided to ride down the inside of a van turning left and collided.' In his caption on Twitter he stated how both parties were okay and no serious injuries were sustained., He also wrote: 'Left turn only lane, bike passes van on the inside mid-corner. Interested to hear people's opinions on where fault lays?' Social media users were quick to make their feelings heard about who was in the wrong. One user replied: 'I'm not sure the cyclist knew it was left only, which is why the indicators should be used regardless.' Another wrote: 'Cyclist is effectively undertaking, so their offence and their fault. Very daft and very lucky not to have a serious leg injury.' A third commented:

 'The speed that cyclist was going suggests he travels that route regularly and was fully aware that it's left turn only… he went left himself. No defence for him, cyclist 100% in the wrong.'
