A man and a woman have been caught on camera appearing to have sex over a sheep statue on the side of a busy road. The pair are believed to have engaged in the act at the intersection of State Highway One and Jetty Street in Dunedin, New Zealand, in the early hours of Sunday morning. Video of the incident reportedly shows people egging on the couple as the man waves back, The NZ Herald reports. Footage of the bizarre incident appeared to show the woman leaning against something as the man stands behind her. NZ Police told the publication people they encouraged people to notify the authorities of offensive behaviour, instead of posting it online. While Family First National Director Bob McCoskrie stated sexual activity should nto take place in public where families could be passing by. 'This couple are showing complete disrespect for bother themselves and for the general public,' he said. Public indecency is still - and should be - a crime.' Under the Crimes Act of 1961 people who engage in indecent acts in a public place in New Zealand could face up to two years imprisonment. It follows an incident last week where a group of men filmed a woman who was naked in a Parnell car park.
